Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center – Heart and Vascular Center

Originally constructed as a “Prototype” to test a new patient room and nursing model, the patient rooms in the Prototype Building were decommissioned upon opening the G3 Patient Tower Addition. This left significant available space for the CardioVascular Department to expand. The Heart and Vascular Center includes Cath and EP procedure rooms and eight pre- and post-operation recovery bays, two Echo and two Stress Test rooms and supporting spaces. Also included is shell space for a third procedure room and control room.
