Novant Health Symphony Pediatrics is a new physician practice in the Southpark area of Charlotte. The new tenant upfit includes 15 protypical exam rooms, a lab and lactation room for patient mothers.
The physicians for Symphony Park specifically choose the building for their practice because of the wonderful entrance rotunda. This rotunda provided a very unique element for the team to design around.
Through a lot of collaboration the team settled on a tree house theme that was carried throughout the waiting room and clinic. The addition of tree forms and a picket fence started the ground work while beautiful murals rounded off the design. This unique waiting room experience is one that many parents and patients have found makes their experience unique and enjoyable.
