McCulloch England was approached to provide a new Medical Office experience for the Simpsonville community that allows for multiple Spartanburg Regional Health System physicians to practice within the same space.
A new 2-story MOB with shared support spaces allowed for a new patient and physician experience for SRHS. Both floors have a spacious waiting room and shared reception/work area up front for receiving and registering patients.
Beyond the reception area are a total of 22 exam rooms on the 1st floor and 14 exam rooms on the 2nd. Also provided on the 1st floor is an outpatient imaging suite to provide CT-scans and radiology services both for the physician practices and also individual needs.
Each exam pod is provided with a work area for the physician and nurse to work alongside one another and a private physician space is also provided.
In addition to the clinical spaces, a large community room was included in the program as a way to engage the larger needs of the community. This room can be reserved for education, meetings or other needs of the community.
