Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center – Original Hospital

Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center is a freestanding 50-bed community hospital located in Huntersville, an emerging suburb 12 miles north of Charlotte’s Uptown district. This four-story hospital connects all levels to an adjacent 105,000 SF Medical Office Building where specialty physician services and an onsite Pharmacy are conveniently located. The hospital itself accommodates four Operating Rooms, three Endoscopy Suites, one C-Section Room, eight LDRP’s, two NICU beds, 36 Medical/Surgery beds, four ICU’s, and hospital support services. The hospital also includes a full-service Emergency Department, which has 10 Observation beds, 19 Exam Rooms, and two Trauma Rooms. The hospital and adjacent Medical Office Building are positioned to provide public visibility and way finding from the front, while service access and staff entrances are arranged in the back at a partial basement level. This configuration facilitates ease of patient/visitor access to the hospital and promotes increased healthcare service efficiency.
